Ben and Lewis live in Sinagpore, but the unfortunate reality is that while same sex marriage has been legal in Massachusetts since 2004, and 2015 for the rest of the U.S., it is not in Singapore. So while Ben was working in Boston for the summer, he decided marrying his partner in the first state that would allow him to do so (in the U.S. at least) seemed fitting, at the Fairmont Copley Plaza.
They hosted an intimate morning ceremony, followed by a light brunch, a nap(!), and a multi-course dinner reception at L’Espalier. A wedding filled with equality, relaxation, and not one, but two meals, is my kind of wedding!
