In recent weeks I’ve had the pleasure of participating in many different cultural events, and Rebecca and Perry’s wedding was no different. Their traditional Jewish wedding included a few customs new to me, the Tisch (the greeting of the bride and groom, although separated at this point.) The Bedeken (the veiling of the bride.) And of course, the Ketubah signing (the marriage contract.)

I also had the rare opportunity to work with my partner in crime, Kelly Lorenz of KL Imagery. When I first moved to Boston in 2007, Kelly and I would work together several times throughout the wedding season, but it’s a rarity for us anymore, with our overlapping schedules.
