Caroline + Travis at the Hyatt Harborside

Caroline and Travis celebrated their 10th anniversary of dating on September 15th, not so coincidentally on the same date they married.

Family and friends gathered across the harbor for their outdoor ceremony, featuring a fabulous view of the Boston skyline. And although there were 20+ mph winds, everyone survived the sunset ceremony, even if their hair didn’t, and reminisced about the last 10 years.

Rebecca + Perry at the Commander’s Mansion

In recent weeks I’ve had the pleasure of participating in many different cultural events, and Rebecca and Perry’s wedding was no different. Their traditional Jewish wedding included a few customs new to me, the Tisch (the greeting of the bride and groom, although separated at this point.) The Bedeken (the veiling of the bride.) And of course, the Ketubah signing (the marriage contract.)

I also had the rare opportunity to work with my partner in crime, Kelly Lorenz of KL Imagery. When I first moved to Boston in 2007, Kelly and I would work together several times throughout the wedding season, but it’s a rarity for us anymore, with our overlapping schedules. Kelly contributed 12 of the images below (scrolling over one of Kelly’s photos will give credit where credit is very much due.) Now, onto the photos…

Abigail + Ned at the Larz Anderson Auto Museum

Abigail and Ned aren’t necessarily car fanatics, but the Larz Anderson Auto Museum has a fabulous park with great views of the city, where they hope to visit with their own family one day.

The ladies also had the coolest bouquets I have ever seen, giant succulents wrapped in burlap, amazingness!

Nicole + Michael at Turner Hill

Two things I really loved about Nicole and Michael’s wedding, one the team of bridesmaids it took to dress Nicole. And two, invisible double dutch dancing, that was a first for me!
