Lily + Josh at the MASS MoCA

I adore the MASS MoCA! If you live in the area and have never been, do yourself a favor (especially in the fall when the leaves are changing) and make the trip out there, it’s amazing! Currently an installation called “Invisible Cities” is up until February, and Lily and Josh were excited to hold their ceremony in front of an incredible piece you’ll see below.

Everyone who participated in Lily and Josh’s wedding were fun and fabulous people. Lily’s mom created all of the decor, Josh’s grandmother, an appeals court judge, officiated the ceremony, and an awesome group of friends came together for a great party, some of which they’ve known for decades. And as you can see, they’re not that old. Thanks for including me in your celebration guys!

Ashley + Hugh at Eastern Yacht Club

How cool is it to travel by boat on your wedding!? The sky threatened rain, but we took the chance and headed over to the boat launch in Marblehead to be escorted across the harbor to Eastern Yacht Club for their reception, totally worth it! And check out their cake topper and cupcakes. Ashley is a veterinarian in DC, but they both have a love for animals, so incorporated their furry friends into the celebration.

A shout out goes to the ladies at Tangorra Wedding Planning as well for their organization and planning. And to Ryan and Hilary (Hugh’s brother and sister-in-law) for being my lighting assistants!

Elisa + Brian in Jamestown RI

Four words, vegan ice cream truck! Elisa and Brian’s wedding had a super fun dessert element during the reception, an ice cream truck, which filled the night sky with so much delicious promise. As guests exhausted themselves on the dance floor they could filter over to the truck for a very tasty (if I do say so myself) late night snack.

Elisa and Brian created and brought in many of the amazingly creative elements you’ll see, and I couldn’t have had more fun, thanks for having me guys!

Caroline + Travis at the Hyatt Harborside

Caroline and Travis celebrated their 10th anniversary of dating on September 15th, not so coincidentally on the same date they married.

Family and friends gathered across the harbor for their outdoor ceremony, featuring a fabulous view of the Boston skyline. And although there were 20+ mph winds, everyone survived the sunset ceremony, even if their hair didn’t, and reminisced about the last 10 years.
