For me, every wedding truly is different, so a “must-have” photo for one couple, may not be of interest to the next. That being said however, there are some similarities from event to event, so when Bliss Celebrations inquired about my top 10 list, I was able to find some common ground. Check out my thoughts HERE!
This week I had two photos featured on Elle Decor’s “8 Wedding Ideas to Steal for Everyday Entertaining.” Check out the full article here.
I’m partial to number 01 (a pink sequined sweetheart table from this wedding at Sharksmouth Estate, a favorite venue of mine.) And number 06 (a signature cocktail from an editorial I photographed for Bliss Celebrations, more from that shoot can be seen here.)
Once again I had the honor of photographing an editorial for Bliss Celebrations, this time at Elm Bank in Wellesley. Designed by Erica Powell and the Reverie Gallery, this shoot couldn’t have been a better fit for me. I mean just look at those colors!
Sayles Livingston killed it on the flowers, creating a stunning table runner, mantel piece, bridal bouquet, and floral crown. And no garden party (let alone any space) would be complete without furnishings and lighting, both of which were styled by New England Country Rentals and Ryan Designs. Because when a chandelier ends up in the woods, you know some effort went into that!
And just a few more favorites from the collection…
I don’t have the opportunity to share as much work with print publications and online blogs as I used to (clients come first) but recently Borrowed & Blue requested two of my 2014 weddings for their Boston launch (stay tuned for the Harvard Club, coming soon.) First up though is Kerryn and Joe’s spring wedding, held at the Ritz Carlton in Boston, when the city was… shall we say, a bit more colorful. So HERE’S to brighter days, and tulips. Check it out!
Over the summer I was honored to be a part of an editorial shoot for Bliss Celebrations hosted by the Cyclorama. Together with an amazing team of vendors, all who knocked it out of the park, we brought a fabulous birthday bash to light. Executive Chef Kevin Marsland of MAX Ultimate Food made several incredible dishes, all of which I regretfully didn’t have a chance to sample. And Food and Pastry Chef Mark Soliday of Confectionery Designs provided the killer desserts you’ll see below.
Now can we talk about those orchid lamps!? Event and Floral Designer John Orton is the brain child of those stunners! And last, but definitely not least, no shindig would be complete without Rentals Unlimited whimsical details you’ll see all throughout these pages, and invitations by Papers. (Cover photography by Carla Ten Eyck.)
In addition to the styled shoot seen above, Jeremy and Josh’s wedding at the Peabody Essex Museum also graced the pages of the 2014 edition! Check out their feature below, and be sure to peruse my original blog post from their wedding HERE!
